Following the success of the earlier LEAF EV, Nissan has released the Nissan LEAF e+ 3.ZERO, a limited edition model boasting some great features for any type of driver. The most substantial change that has been made is to the battery, which has gone up to 62 kWh, compared to the previous 40 kWh. This has meant that the LEAF e+ 3.ZERO can go for an extra 62 miles without requiring a recharge, which is a significant increase on the regular 177 miles that the LEAF EV boasts.
There are only 5,000 of these cars available in Europe, and it’s worth acting quick; the LEAF e+ 3.ZERO also provides the driver with a more powerful motor than its counterparts. Alongside the increase in efficiency, the LEAF e+ 3.ZERO also has the same great 8 inch screen, and where the exterior is concerned, the buyer has a choice over a wider range of body colours, and even a two-tone colour combination, with the roof being a different colour from the rest of the body.
There are many benefits to investing in an electric or hybrid vehicle, particularly a Nissan. One of these vehicles could save you over two thirds of your running costs in comparison to a petrol or diesel vehicle, a saving that really makes a difference to your annual outgoings. Electric vehicles emit hardly any noise at all, either, and as such they allow for a more relaxing drive, unlike those vehicles that depend upon a petrol or diesel engine.
On top of this, the parts of Nissan electric and hybrid vehicles are much less complex compared to their petrol counterparts, and as such, they don’t require as much servicing. If any problems do arise, you won’t have to pay out for the expensive costs associated with having a petrol engine, such as exhausts, radiators, fuel injection systems and starter motors. All of these things are simply not required in Nissan electric cars, which makes them a cheaper alternative in the long-run.
If you’re a UK resident, you can also get £3,500 towards your new Nissan electric car, although the government no longer offer subsidies for hybrid models. This is a substantial discount to have on your car, and the benefits don’t stop here! The Nissan LEAF e+ 3.ZERO is much better for the environment than standard vehicles, and electric vehicles release zero exhaust emissions into the atmosphere. The Nissan LEAF is also made up of around 375kg of recycled materials, from water bottles to old home appliances.
In short, the Limited Edition Nissan LEAF e+ 3.ZERO boasts all of the benefits of any great Nissan electric car, but the main attractive feature is the extended battery life, which allows you to get to your destination without having to worry about a recharge. If this wasn’t enough, the two-tone colour options are classy and modern, and the government subsidy is enough to persuade anybody that the Limited Edition LEAF is worth considering!
Certainly look into the Nissan LEAF e+ 3.ZERO if you’re looking for the perfect electric car.
