What qualifications do I need to work at Dicksons?
Requirements vary by role. For example, sales positions typically require strong customer service skills, enthusiasm for automotive products, and a full UK driving licence, though specific automotive qualifications aren't always necessary as we provide comprehensive manufacturer training (this includes driving test and lessons for the right person!).
Technical roles generally require relevant automotive qualifications, though we welcome applications from motivated individuals seeking apprenticeships. Administration and parts roles need good organisational abilities, computer literacy, and ideally automotive parts knowledge, though this can be developed.
