Can you repair punctured tyres?

Yes, at Dicksons of Inverness, we can repair most punctured tyres if the damage meets British Standard safety criteria. Tyres can typically be repaired if the puncture is in the central tread area (not the sidewall), is smaller than 6mm in diameter, and the tyre has sufficient remaining tread depth.

Our technicians assess each tyre individually, and if a repair is unsafe, we'll recommend replacement for your safety. Puncture repairs can be completed whilst you wait at our welcoming and comfortable Inverness service centre.
