How do you qualify for a mobility car in Scotland?

To qualify for a mobility car under the motability scheme in Scotland, a person must be receiving one of the following:

  • Higher Rate Mobility Component of Disability Living Allowance (DLA),
  • Enhanced Rate of the Mobility Component of Personal Independence Payment (PIP),
  • OR War Pensioner's Mobility Supplement (WPMS)

The individual must have 12 months remaining on their award.
