What government grants are available for electric cars in Scotland?

While the UK Plug-in Car Grant has ended for most cars, the Scottish Government offers the Home Charge Scheme, providing up to £300 towards the installation of a home wallbox charger. Business customers may qualify for additional incentives.

Electric vehicles are also exempt from Vehicle Excise Duty (road tax) and benefit from lower Benefit-in-Kind tax rates for company car drivers. Our finance team at Dicksons can explain all available incentives when you visit our Inverness showroom.
